IT Trade Mission to Norway

DevCom is proud to be the winner of the competitive selection of representatives of Ukrainian IT sector to participate in a Trade Mission to the Kingdom of Norway.

A trade mission to the Kingdom of Norway is organized by the Ukrainian Export Promotion Office in partnership with the IT Ukraine Association. 15 Ukrainian IT companies will become ambassadors to present Ukrainian IT sector to Norwegian partners as a European IT hub, start further bilateral cooperation as well as to get acquainted with the experience and achievements of Norwegian IT industry.

Trade Mission is to meet with new businesses, participate in pre-arranged individual business meetings, and learn about building practices from Norwegian companies during site visits. 

Event date: October 8, 2019, to October 11, 2019.

This is an expected plan of the trade mission:

  • October 8: An educational event: «Export Talks: Norway»;
  • October 9: Norway-Ukraine business forum; B2B meetings and networking;
  • October 10: Introductory visits to Norwegian IT companies. The goal – to establish a business dialogue with Norwegian companies.

Norwegian-Ukrainian Business Forum

Norwegian-Ukrainian Business Forum runs on October 8, at Høyres Hus Conference Center, Nordengen hall. VPO of DevCom, Igor Kruzhylko, will take part at Panel discussion there. We are also ready to communicate and share our experience.

08:40 – 09:00Registration/welcome coffee.

09:00 – 09:20Opening remarks: Andriy Demchuk, Director of Export Promotion Office of Ukraine, Viacheslav Yatsiuk, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Kingdom of Norway.

09:20 – 09:35Presentation of the Ukrainian IT Industry: Kostyantyn Vasiuk, Executive Director of IT Ukraine Association.

09:35 – 09:50Norwegian IT industry: achievements & success stories: ICT Norway, Nordic IT Association.

09:50 – 10:30Panel discussion 1: Representatives of the Ukrainian companies, Representatives of NUCC, ICT Norway, Nordic IT Association.

10:30 – 10:40 – Coffee break.

10:40 – 11:20 Panel discussion 2: Representatives of the Ukrainian companies, Representatives of ICT Norway, Nordic IT Association, NUCC, Norwegian companies.

11:20 – 12:00 Panel discussion 3: Representatives of the Ukrainian companies, Representatives of ICT Norway, Nordic IT Association, NUCC, Norwegian companies.

13:00-18:00 – B2B meetings and networking.
